If you have a viable case and choose to move forward, representation is on a contingency basis — meaning you pay no attorney fees unless your case results in a financial recovery for you.

- Do I need the breach notification letter to start?
- No. You don’t need the letter in hand to submit a review. Our attorney can cross-reference public Attorney General filings and help you confirm your eligibility.
- What if I’m not sure which company’s breach affected me?
- That’s fine. Submit your best information and the attorney will review it. You can also browse our breach registry to find the right case.
- How long do I have to file?
- Statutes of limitation vary by state and claim type but are typically one to three years from the date you knew or should have known about the breach. Acting sooner helps preserve your rights.
- What does “contingency” mean?
- Contingency-based representation means the attorney only gets paid if your case results in a recovery for you. You pay no upfront fees and owe nothing if the case is unsuccessful.
- Does submitting the form create an attorney-client relationship?
